Project Description

Ascent is a virtual reality multi-player interactive experience. The game simulates the rock climbing activity; players will be placed on separate cliffs and will have to share climbing tools in order to ascend to the top.

The game's spatial music reacts to the player's progress and cooperation level. The game's reverberation system uses real time raytracing in order to accurately simulate the virtual world's acoustic properties

This game was designed in collaboration with MIT, Harvard and Berklee College of Music
